Apple's new iphone 5 will not be using a 30 pin connector but a 19 pin smaller connector !!

Apples new iphone will not be using the wide dock connector used by the company for a decade or so !!

The iphone 5 expected to be launched in October is going to have a 19-pin connector instead of a 30-pin connector.(this is due to keeping the earphones moving to the bottom)

The bad news is that this means the iphone 5  will not be able to connect to a lot of devices that form part of the apple experience such as the ipod !!

But good news for all those accessory makers because this change can create an opportunity for these manufacturers to come up with all new devices supported for the iphone 5
